Tell those beauts that if we really wanted to hurt Payet we'd have covered him in honey and staked him to an anthill in Millwall.

What a brilliant witty and superbly written start to a thread. I am a hammers fan genuinely miffed at McCarthys tackle on payet, but that has knocked the stuffing out of me!

We all know Everton away is a guaranteed tubbing. I come from a lesser known but almost moron- free forum called In the brown stuff. Nobody wanted the onerous task of starting a losing match thread, such is our conviction that we will get nil points.

BUT this is the weird season in which we beat all of the top teams, including Liverpool THREE (yes three) times. So we are optimistic, even if Lukaku is guaranteed to score a 98th minute winner.

So, in summary, we hope McCarthy is kicked up the bum in a kind of Charlie Chaplin style from a corner and is looking round indignantly to find the culprit as payet does 87 kick ups and rabonas the ball in to the top corner.

Good team the 'ammers this year. They've just beat a very good Spurs side with a set piece. We can't defend set pieces.

Welcome mate, we've a couple of grounds I have a similar dread towards as well, unfortunately one being our loveable neighbours which is why was cheering you on for each and every one of those three wins against them!

Been fun watching you this season but hopefully you'll give your fine form a rest this weekend - regardless best of luck for the rest of the season.
