As an aside I thought the overall balance of the team looked good tonight. If we aren't going to go with two out-and-out wingers then the diamond with Davies/Gueye/Rooney sitting a bit deeper with Gylfi at the tip seems to work. Also I like DCL but Niasse would've had a field day out there tonight.

Same mate..what a strange ole day..thought there was some good performances tonight..Rooneys shot was simply outstanding..young lads accounted themselves well..Davies,Holgate,Kenny and thought Siggy possibly had his best game..great to see Rhino finish on a high and see how much the win meant for him....win Saturday and could go 10th insane

What a relief. Never expected that. Got 2-0 up and it was edgy for a bit. That penalty save was key. Excellent.
Then an unbelievable goal from Rooney. Top draw. Game over. 3points and a clean sheet. Much needed.
Now go and get 3 more on Saturday.

Ps. Rooney ran the show for large parts of that game, so fair play.
Thought Kenny did well too. All of them put more effort in tonight.

Thought we were quite strong in defence but lacked massively on the ball, clearly a team lacking confidencely badly.

Rooney was obviously superb.

Shout out to Jonjoe Kenny who I thought was outstanding. Siggurdson who showed what he’s capable of and even Holgate who I thought had a good game.

And to think people think we are bad,and we have been loads this season,but heck shows how bad west ham are if we can beat them 4-0 when we are out of form a little,and west hams next 3 of man city/chelsea/arsenal should keep them in massive trouble,fab win,bit dodgy the 1st 20mins of 2nd half,and to think we are only a few points from been 9th with a winnable game saturday which now looks even more so after tonight
