Hi Guys -thanks for your hospitality.
Wolves fan since 1959 just visiting and I wanted to agree with Gareth Gibsons post.
Your supporters were fantastic tonight. The atmosphere was evident even on TV
You have nothing to worry about this season - I can still see a top 8 finish for you.
BTW thanks for not offering Nuno the job lol. I think he would have had a hard job turning Everton down!
Thanks for letting me comment and good luck for the season. (I have a bet on you for the FA Cup!)
Because the team give them no encouragement. The fans support the team doing the right things; when they don't, there's literally nothing to support.
The fans job is to be reactive; the players job is to be proactive.
Pickford's penalty save was the key moment. I think they might of got something out of the match, if it went in.Second half WHU pressed us mightly and nearly got back into the game. At 2 down they had nothing to lose nad pushed us back. Their play though at that time was better, good passing compared to us, we gave the ball away too easily with our bad passing.
A win is a win and 3 points, helped by other results this week.

Except of course when things aren't going well and the team needs a lift. If you've ever played sports in front of a crowd be it 50, 500, 5000, or 50K...when things are darkest for fans it's even darker for the players.
They know they are playing bad, making mistakes, etc. They know it's not good or right. Some players really struggle with confidence (I speak from personal experience) A little help from the crowd can go a long way.
Now...if the effort simply isn't there that's a whole other can of worms. The job of the fan is to support...until the effort doesn't earn it.
Yes I was actually quite confident, he'd save it. Really impressed with this lad. Rooney was obviously man of the match but Pickford was 2nd.4-0 brilliant stuff, penalty save, Rooney hatrick including a worldie and a clean sheet. Onwards & upwards.
