It's no coincidence James come back and we lose our first prem game in a month or so. Last year if you wanna get technical.

What is important in football? One must create and utilize space. This becomes extra important when playing against teams like West Ham. We completely lack breadth and depth in our game. Throughout the match, we played on West Ham's strengths.

Space was created all over the bloody place, until it came to passing the ball to a striker, then we usually hit a defender or went backwards.....

The players looked exhausted on both sides. Look at results in the league over past week. Hardly anybody scored more than one goal.

See the child like morons commenting on here after a defeat. Yeah we were crap but some of the comments are clearly from this idiotic thick breed called the youth of today we unfortunately have calling them selves fans. Ffs grow up we were never brilliant to begin with. Also what's with this commentary on here whilst the game is playing, literally commenting on every pass, miss pass, shot, foul etc.just watch the game, hate the way the world is run by phones and laptops. Time to leave this forum, it is not for real fans.

The problem wasn’t the shape. It was losing the ball every time Richarlison got it.

But it was the shape.

Our midfielders ran away from the ball, so all West Ham did was sit back. None of our players then dropped into that space to receive it, so the ball was (slowly, too) funnelled wide. All West Ham did was shift across, double up.

Richarlison was poor, absolutely, but Gordon would have come on and found exactly the same issue if we'd have kept the same system.
