Watching this game, I dont think Ive seen one triangle between centre halves and centre mid - something which we seem to specialise in. Both of these teams are always looking to play forward. Our players, particularly Davies and Sigurdsson just look to play the easy ball - back where it came from when under any pressure whatsoever. Against Sheff Utd, when you get more time on the ball, someone like Davies can improve but they are not good under any pressure. We are much better with Allan in the team who shows some bravery on the ball. Yes, he sometimes puts us under pressure by giving it away but I'd rather have him turning and looking to move the ball quicker than just playing the safe option of that mundane triangle between the centre halves. Its so easy to play against.
