I honestly don't think Wolves are all that. Last season sure they did bits but i never felt it was going to last. I guess we'll see by the end of the season but I think they'll struggle.

The positive aspect for us is that we dont rely heavily on a player like those clubs around us do.

Looking at our 'rivals'

Leicester rely alot on Vardy and a lengthy lay off would snooker them imo

Wolves the same with Jimenez

West Ham get mocked on here but I think they'll be the suprise package this year if they can keep Haller fit as he's a genuine top quality striker who I wish we had went for

Chelsea and Utd both have more quality so can afford an injury or two however Rashford and Abraham give them alot of attacking threat.

I know Richarlison scores goals but Kean could well develop over the coming weeks/months and be potent then you have Sigurdsson and Iwobi who I think will score a few this season.

Really good game that.
Most impressive was the way the team worked together, had that feeling that every time Wolves equalised they would come back and get the goal.
Reckon the tide might be changing!
Delph makes all the difference.
Maybe put an extra spring in Sig's step, knowing things are happening for the good.
How long has it been since we've had a player with the qualities of Delph at the club?

If Silva is going to insist on a two man mid then Delph, and the CBs, are going to need protection and hopefully Gambin will provide that.
That said, it was really good to see Gomes get stuck in in the second half.

I think we're all in the same boat to be honest. Except for Wolves who have a much too small squad for a long Europa League and premier league campaign. We've got Maddison, Tielemans and Barnes who I expect to chip in with goals and a few others

Difficult to say mate. I don't see them struggling too much, but maybe won't finish as high as last year. They were quite cumbersome today. Caused problems though in that first 25 mins. But once we got to grips, we were worthy of the win in my view.

I was surprised how limited they were as a team really. They are functional and direct, utilising set plays and height a lot. However they don't attempt to play like a top team. I think they will be limited as a result of that. Don't get me wrong, they could still go further, but I think they hit a ceiling at some point.
Their bubble will burst. Also any genuine top class players will leave them for bigger things. I will admit though that they have a much better team than us.

Do they? Jiminez, Jota and Neves are goods but other than that I think your lot are better man for man
They have more quality without doubt . I don’t think we’ve got a bad team at all, but it’s going to take a few games to gel . I certainly think we have players that would get in their team even though they won’t admit it. Wolves play some really good stuff at times, and to be honest I’m going mainly off watching them last season. They have got off to a slow start in the league this season. They will definitely finish below where they came last season . Yourselves and Everton will finish above them I think.

True however with Richarlison and Sigurdsson both scored 26 goals between them from midfield/out wide last season.

If both can get around 10-15 and Iwobi/Kean contribute more than their counterparts DCL and Bernard did last season (not hard) I think we have a slight edge goal scoring wise.

The problem for us is we havent a top striker like you guys have - but then its also a double edged sword as when you have a 20 goal a season forward you inevitably set up to their strengths.

The day Vardy breaks down you'll see exactly what I mean - many on here said "ah we'll spread the goals around" when we sold Rom and in reality it completely changes the team/system which takes a few transfer windows to sort out (unless your a CL club who can sign another 20 a season hitman).

Realistically we still havent replaced Rom 3 seasons on and Kean is only 19 and will take IMO a full season or two before he can develop into a top centre forward.

I do think it'll be ourselves and Leicester uo there this year - just hope atleast one of us can break into the top 4 never mind 6!
