Compared to how Wolves played against us last year at Goodison I was a little bit surprised. Thought they went long ball alot more, and long throw ins seemed to be their main means. To be fair, they caused us problems in the first 25 mins even though we were 2-1 up. We coped with them much better in 2nd half, but they still got a second equaliser which was disappointing. But I thought we did enough to merit the win. Could've sealed it with a 4th but for their keeper. But we'll take the 3-2 and 3 points. Important win.

Well done Everton today. These little boys are getting way above their station .

I was surprised how limited they were as a team really. They are functional and direct, utilising set plays and height a lot. However they don't attempt to play like a top team. I think they will be limited as a result of that. Don't get me wrong, they could still go further, but I think they hit a ceiling at some point.

They're a very negative side but often get out of jail with some individual quality

Yeah. Was a bit surprised by their approach today. Don't really know why, but I was expecting more for some reason. Think they'll still do ok, but think your lot will have the edge on them this season. Think we'll be there with you, but it'll depend on how Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd go too. Opportunity though.

I just think they are a very unique side to play against. They have men in unusual positions when setting up which makes them hard to stop. They are also a very big team, so utilise set plays. They use the long throw as much as any side I've seen since Stoke.

Thats absolute fair enough as well. I'm not a football purist, there are many ways to play. However it's a bit rich coming on here carrying on like they are on their way to replicate Barcelona when their methods seem to borrow more from Stoke City and Pulis. A bit of reflection and honesty wouldn't go amiss.

lol ! Deluded fan , but don’t worry we have the same kind of deluded fans also . We didn’t play defensive today , I take it you are a arm chair supporter who’s listened on the radio. Both defences today were poor and goals literally could have gone either way in the first half . If you are going to reply to a comment I make , at least make sure you have a clue what your talking about . Well done for your win , you deserved it in the end .

We had a little bit more quality and that was the difference. I think we definitely deserved the win.

You are a big side and caused us issues from set plays so I'm not gonna criticise your team for playing for them. We need to be tighter at the back. As do wolves I suppose.

Would love one or both of us to break into it but it's a massive challenge. Consistency has been the main issue for Everton and Leicester in recent years. Rodgers has tried to make us a more possession based team and so far it's looking good but got some tough games coming up

Two big things for me with Leicester remain, 1 CB (though seem to be adjusting to no Magiure) and 2- how does Vardy's fitness hold up. if he broke down, it's a big loss for them.

To be fair mate, you aced consistency the way you won the league that season.

Yeah exactly. People tried to beat us for winning the league playing 'kick and rush football'. As if it was a bad thing lol

I don't get that mentality at all. At times in the 80's we were direct, 2 lads up top who could head the ball and bring others into play. In the 60's our teams went through midfield a bit more. Lots of ways to play.

It gets on my wick though that Wolves fans believe they are doing something they are not.

I know it looks like I'm saying it out of bitterness but I promise you that Maguire's importance to us was a myth. He had a good first season with us but last season he was rubbish. Not only is the money brilliant for us but his departure has given Soyuncu game time which he's grabbing with both hands

Your 2nd point is fair but he's honestly showing no signs of slowing down. Was immense yesterday. Our backup options are a worry

Yeah. Vardy, for as much as he can annoy, is a quality finisher and causes any team problems. Time will tell how they cope without Maguire. Done ok so far though.
Injuries to key players can be key for us Leicester and Wolves.
