(Overwhelming) Negatives from today:
  • Inability to put one of them chances away.
  • Playing too narrow out wide, Patterson was particularly awful for this.
  • Added time - only seven minutes over both halves is ridiculous!
Positives:
  • Branthwaite - much more composed than Keane, only improvement could be distribution with long balls.
  • Dobbin - kept things tidy out wide and linked the attack together well.
  • Chermiti - Looked alright when he came on, need to see more of him.
I'm not overly worrying yet, still a lot of games to be played. Just need to sort ourselves out in the market this week (yet, this should've been done at least a month ago!)

Sean Dyche will talk about the "mentality" being there because we beat Arsenal 1-0 at Goodison 7 months ago...
Those that we know have the mentality - like Patterson and Tarks - don't have the talent and those that possibly have the talent - are bottlers - or they simply don't care. I've never been so disgusted in an Everton team as I am with these fools. And Dyche has to take some responsibility for the selection and set up. We can all see Onana and Gueye are getting the run around. The only thing he got right was picking Branthwaite.

so,so lacking in self belief,I’ve seen us play much, much worse(last week?🙄)up to a point we were okay, but what we are lacking appears to be obvious to everyone barring the hierarchy,a centre forward,a lock picker in midfield, centre back, and a right back for me just for starters,no real leaders/characaters in this lot either I think.

There has been ZERO leadership in this team since Coleman took over as Captain. I will always admire his commitment to Everton but Seamus should never have been given the "C". There seems to be no accountability in the dressing room and the revolving door of managers certainly doesn't help. Which is why you have a "Captain" to steer the ship...
Colemans fault... not played this season but still his fault... ffs
