First things first. Go Man to Man on corners and free kicks. How can somebody being paid so much still persist with zonal marking?? It absolutely beggars belief and is showing he is totally incompetent at the job in hand.

Basics need to be sorted out and unfortunately the guy doesn't seem willing or able to adjust his style to start to improve things gradually on the pitch.

I could manage a team to do us over, there is obviously something rotten within the club that has players giving up and not caring so quickly into managers time. I have a feeling Ferguson could be an issue he's been there for a long time now and never seems arsed win loose or draw.

There might be something in what you say.

In all honesty my interest in this season died a few weeks back. Possibly after 40 years, my interest in football too.

Quite well to be fair.

But it is against us so hard to judge in real life football.

I've checked since somebody brought that up in the transfer thread. He was good in the games, he's played. Their manager just introduced him quite late because of him not being fit because of the transfer saga and his last season antics. He was a good buy for them, for 12 million pounds, playing both in defence and in midfield (making him a good utility player). Today he was quite high up the pitch.

I think something similar will happen with Sander Berge; only he will be more expensive (and he's injury prone).
