I'm over 50, actually over 60. The poor performance today was honestly built on several things
1 Team afraid to go forward, too much sideways stuff, or backwards
2 Lack of drive and determination
3 Piss poor ref
4 Slow play, slow decisions, best players on paper, performing like paper cut outs
5 Poor subs, throwing on attackers with no midfield is just silly
6 being out-played, out thought and out hassled by a largely inferior group of players
7 yet again, marking space instead of players at set pieces - call it what you want, I call it a disaster


I'm not for changing managers willy-nilly (other than Allardyce, who is still a stain on the clubs history) - but he has to change what is happening or he has to go. He still has the rest of the season as we won't go down, but he needs to start changing things - and soon.

Our remaining home games will finish him off - he's like a lamb to the slaughter - sad times

The whole 'lost dressing room' thing is garbage. None of Koeman, Unsworth, Allardyce and Silva have lost the dressing room. There is clear evidence for that in the problems common to all of them.

It's a ship that needs turning around slowly which is what I think the club is doing. Whether Silva is there beyond this season remains to be seen. But the fans should adopt the longer-term mindset in the meantime. At the moment, we seem to be taking inspiration from mid-2000s Geordies.

Lost the dressing room .! Not garbage to the point that the players are,nt stupid. They know that they are not in the same league as the top six. They know they won,t win anything in a season or be relegated. They are not going to bust a gut on a comfortable wage. Believe me ! He never had the dressing room and neither did the last 3 or so managers.

Do you think these players under a Pochetino or Guadiola or Klopp or even some one like Roy bloody Hodgson would be this bad. I don't think so.

Some of these players have been absolutely gutless bottlers under 4 managers (Martinez, Koeman, Fat Sam, Silva). Guardiola would play the academy before sending out half of the "veteren" tossers

They reportedly haven't had a day off - apart from last Wednesday - since Christmas.

They've been in every day. A lot of days doing analysis and double sessions.

I didn't know that, which brings up the question of what are they actually doing then? Becuase whatever it is, is of no benefit to the team

Davies MOM for me. He was not to blame for anything that went on. Sigurdsson, Walcott, Seamus (although not his fault he is finished), Baines (bad unfit selection), Tosun, Richarlison, Keane all carry the blame for the collapse.

Bet he has,nt slept for the last month or so. sad times for him with all the flack he is getting. No experience for managing a club as big as Everton should be.
