I wish I could see the club turning the ship round slowly, I’m missing something when I go the match

Precisely my point. If you're looking for it when you go to the match then you're looking in the wrong place.

...something inherently wrong within the club that manifests onto the pitch. No idea what it is but we are poorly managed, which doesn’t help. Hope that is the reason.

I have said previously the club needs changing from top to bottom,get rid of the sentimentality of giving ex players posts,stop keeping hold of players past their sell by date,actually get a board that can push things on,sort out an academy that produces zilch,get players with ambition and fight,when was the last time a player won a 50/50 ball or threw themselves in the way to stop something? We have players bought for far too much,getting paid far too much and knowing that this is as high as they can get,nobody is going to pay the same amount to them,there isnt the quality in the squad to replace them so there is no pressure to over stretch themselves

Its the players.! They know they can,t compete with the big boys. Players are not stupid. They could bust their guts every game and still not win anything at the end of the season.

Never seen as many fans leave 12 minutes before the end of a match at Goodison Park.

...nah, not for me. The players are accountable, no doubt about that but a very good manager gets them organised, gets them disciplined and gets them fired up.

The league isn’t great, it’s a fantastic time to break into the top four.

Hardly makes a difference. They don't care about their own self respect and personal pride of performance. Why would they care about people coming to watch them.

They are gutless and have no allegiance to the club. We need them binned off and out of our club. There's nothing worth preserving in this club.

Actually, starts with the owner who appears willing but ill advised and the trickles all the way down.
Only exceptions are the tea ladies and cleaners who are boss

and the people who do the tours who were very impressive in both knowledge and courteousness.

Agreed! and if YOU were in middle management and no way of getting promotion, would YOU work your socks off if you were very comfortable on a good wage?
