Upon further review, I have NO IDEA what Keane is doing. Zonal marking is one thing, but you can't just sit there in space when there is no one there, especially if you are a CB. We've got two decent players in the air - no better than decent of course - and neither are anywhere near the ball. Yet they are in the middle of the zone. I don't understand.

if we are going to be skint or at least unable to compete in the transfer windows for the foreseeable future, then we MUST employ a manager who has a record of bringing and getting the very best out of of mediocre players.

they are hard to find but they are out there. eddie howe has got the best out of league one type players and kept Bournemouth in the league on a shoe string, Rafael is keeping a very bad Newcastle team up, cos he know how to coach a team and set them up.
