It amazes me how poor the analysis is amongst manay Evertonians on our present form. We're not at the races for sure, but our problems have come against 'average' teams when they set up at Goodison and look for a draw. I cant see Wolves playing that way. Yes, theyll look to bed in the game, but they'll fancy their chances as they have on the road all season: 4 wins 3 draws 4 losses. They'll come out and play; their manager will make sure of it. This will be two sides looking at this with one thing in mind: win it.

I fancy us against them on that score.
100% this! Bizarrely, I am less nervous against the better sides, as we will have no requirement to try and jink our way through a packed defence. I like Santo, I think he is a very talented coach, and win lose or draw, his team entertains, so it should be a nice game to watch regardless.

You forgot the caveat below!?

unfortunately we can't really defend either

All jokes a side I think it should be a good game of football . I have no doubt you will be up for this one and with rich in your side who’s the one player I would take in heart beat , and you being at home with the crowd behind there team, could ultimately [Poor language removed] my prediction completely up .

Win lose or draw I certainly would not be swapping managers as I believe Nuno is light years ahead of Marco silva when it comes to tactics . He always believes in playing the same way no matter who the opposition and only buys players that fit into his system. This is why in seasons to come I’m confident wolves can make a better fist than you lot have of bridging that gap to the top six . Our owners want the premier league title within 10 years , and as far fetched and delusional as it may seem , i may just get myself down the bookies this weekend and see what odds I can drag out of mr William . all the best for the rest of the season :)

Please go ahead and back your own team in the bookies. Always a sure fire way of jinxing them

what like brighton away?
Southampton away?
Millwall away?
Newcastle- I'll give you
Watford- didn't come for a draw and out played us
Bournemouth- outplayed us in the first half nothing about setting up for a draw
Leicester- had a game plan and it worked

In response to signs of crowing or over optimism by Wolves geezers on here, I am glad you are back in the top league and good luck to you (except on Saturday) . Ambition for the title is very laudable, but utterly unrealistic in the modern age. (ignore Leicester as my crystal ball says it will never happen again). However have a little humility when you consider you have been the best part of 2 decades (?) out of the top division. Such an experience is unknown to us at Everton. We may be ragged around the edges like our ground is, but we are a proper top league club and playing outside it is a distant memory of old men (like me). As I said welcome back to "the big time", or at least to the lower levels of the big time.
