Yeah, this is pretty much an acid test. We have taken too few points from the season to date to allow ourselves the indulgence of letting this opportunity pass. This is the problem when fans begin to write off so many games. At some point, there are only so many points left to win - and if you can't take them at home to this Wolves, well, we're probably in the wrong division. If we dont win this game we are in massive trouble.
It really is as simple as that.
Yes, they have a new manager. But they are where they are because they're even worse than we are.
If we cant beat Wolves at home - this season is the one we go down.
I think not beating the worst team in the league at home would be a disaster personally.Must not lose more than a must win for me.

Last season we were in trouble because we took one point of Watford, three from Burnley and three from Norwich. If we hadn’t beaten Burnley and Norwich at home we’d have gone down.
We had to rely on beating Chelsea and Man United at home last year and we’ve already lost those games this year…
This is the truth. It’s a massive six pointer. A win is the bare minimum and gives us a chance of staying up, anything else is a disaster and makes relegation highly likely.
The fans will really turn if we play poor and get beat.
If we suffer a record of 1 win in 8 games then legitimately we are in the territory of questioning whether the manger is the right one to take us further than this.
It would be VERY disruptive though.
There's a school of thought that Lampard should be allowed the rest of the window to get his players in up front and that he had hard luck in the summer on just not being able to secure Kudus. I susbscribe to that view. Just.
But I wouldn't criticise anyone wanting a new manager come Boxing Day if we dont get that win against the division's bottom team.
I think he's been unfortunate with the striker situation. I wouldn't judge FL as harshly as managers like Silva and Koeman who both had the cash to bring in players all over the squad. However, we need to turn this tide. Quickly.Yeah, this is pretty much an acid test. Me too.
But lose the next two - Wolves at home an Man City away and we likely sit 20th New Years Day.
No manager survives that.
Woah, slow down there, Cowboy. These are people who consistently fail to appoint even a moderately successful manager. Heck, they often take months to appoint even a loser. What makes you think they'll get the right man in and then back him with decent forwards to boot?I couldn't argue with that. No one reasonably could.
If they do sack him they better have two strikers or one striker + a creative winger to hand to a new manager or it'll all be for nought.
