There was a lot of optimism around us after getting Lopetegui. Whether we stay up or go down it was a calibre of manager that we shouldn't have been able to attract considering our situation and the board are going to go all-out in January to back him which is why he came.

We've probably overpaid for Matheus Cunha (can't play vs you) but it's another big statement for a side down the bottom, so there had been excitement.

Then we watched us against Gillingham the other night.

It was so bad and a reminder that the players are just not performing but in truth a lot of us hoped for more considering Lopetegui had six weeks working with them.

Obviously not easy against a side with 11 behind the ball and will be a different game against you but we were bad.

Would expect this XI.

Sa
Semedo, Collins, Kilman, Bueno
Moutinho, Neves, Nunes
Adama, Costa, Guedes

Podence, Hwang, Jimenez will probably replace the front three at some point.

Hwang could start ahead of Guedes who is rubbish to be honest, or even Ait-Nouri if he wants to go more defensive.
Boubacar Traore should play ahead of Moutinho (who is way past it) but he had a scan on a groin injury the other day and whilst Lopetegui said he could be available for you it sounded like the BS you occasionally get from a manager. If he starts it makes a massive difference as he can press and win the ball back. Gives away far too many fouls but the only mobile, aggressive midfielder we have.

Goals the problem but after a positive start the defence has looked really shaky, so that's not a good combination :D

That lack of mobility in midfield compared to your three is the worry and the team looks low on confidence but I'm sure you'll say you're in the same boat.

Yes must be the worst Wolves team I seen for a while, let's hope you can pull a few runs together or else I'll be seeing you at the Hawthorns next season.

Thanks. If not on telly I can always watch the match day thread to keep me informed….sort of lol
Haha. I go crazy on here on match day.

Read a post saying 'WTF!!' and I don't know if it's 'wtf have you done Pickford?' or 'WTF!! I can't believe Gana's just scored'

Has to be said that the former is more likely lol .

Has Costa got anything left in the tank mate?

Their midfield, once again, will utterly rip us apart. In fact, they could probably keep Moutinho for another 8 years and he'd still be running rings around our younger and supposedly fitter players. 0-2 Wolves, an Expected Defeat here.

They took 77 minutes to break through a League Two side on Tuesday they aren’t gonna rip through Gana and Onana if both are on song
