There's expectation on Everton for this game - Everton will be thinking it's on Everton to take the game to Brentford.

That expectation and desperation generally doesn't bode well for us.

Against a team who are on an unbeaten run (12) that surpasses our longest ever Prem unbeaten run (11 in 2012).

Everton need to treat Brentford as though they're Man City or Arsenal - do that and we could nick a win. I think if we go into it thinking we can go toe-to-toe and we could lose badly.

Unlucky 13...but it's -v- Everton so not overly optimistic. Reckon a draw!

I'd like to see us with two strikers from the start. Have a go and take the early chances. We can always settle back into a 4-1-4-1 if Brentford build some pressure. Also, dont sit back if we do get a lead. Keep the pressure on and finish them off. They are a good side but surely we have more to play for. They're comfortable in the upper mid table, where as we should be fighting for our lives!

Some tricky-ish fixtures on our run in. But Southampton, Leeds, Bournemouth in the same boat as us.

Things in our favour:

- Dyche's been here before
- Team performances (energy, getting balls in the box etc) are improving. OK, we got done at Arsenal.
- DCL coming back
- GOODISON PARK

Beat these this weekend and with Liverpool and Utd heavy favourites and Leeds / West Ham not likely to do better than a draw and we're out the drink and feeling better. I also think we could do Spurs.
