Brentford are the total opposite of what we have become. A proper team of decent players who embody the whole being greater than the sum of the parts. Thomas Frank has done well to build on what Dean Smith started.
But - they are not invincible as we showed when we knocked them out of the cup. We have to match their intensity and attitude and our fans need to stay on the right side of creating an absolute cauldron. We need to defeat these mentally as well as physically. COYB.

League position changes everything psychologically. Viera can comfortably and calmly talk about still being in the relegation battle going into a game with City. Whereas right at the bottom we are blindly focussing on performances, sings of small improvements and dare not say the word relegation. Praying for a win here. Much easier to play (and watch) with a bit of freedom if you are looking down on the battle below. Even if just a couple of points. It’s like sodding quicksand.
