Judged on last season Garner won’t be doing that, I thought he was attacking but having watched him for us and U21’s, he was more defensive than Gomes. Playing in front of back for and sideways and backwards passing, I really hope Dyche has got him to look forward, as I thought he would make a good signing.
That sounds more like he's been asked to play a more restricted game for the u21's then , or he's just been told to take a more easy approach Incase of aggravating his back again. He's not an attacking midfielder so he won't be hitting back of the net 10 times a season, from what i've seen he's more that composed midfielder that will sit further back but start the play from there. And he is definitely forward looking unless someone's trained that out of him.

in an alternate universe somewhere, Ivan Toney plays for Everton and scores lots of goals and we all have the fantasy football team name "Evertoney" but alas here we are in this stupid universe, waiting to watch Rico Henry score a header, then go home and cry into a curry

I don't think this is possible to play but I'd definitely take it over how we have been playing

Need to keep a clean sheet to win me thinks. These are very dangerous going forward but have a feeling we will pull off a 1-0 win. Defender scoring, going for big kegger.

Don't want to be in a world where Brentford at home is a tough game but here we are. The red last year changed the game. It's imperative we score first. We lack the mental strength otherwise.

What you want and what you get are usually worlds apart. As our best finisher, it makes sense to stick with Gray up top. Really want Mina to start but Keane didn't have the worst game and assisted the goal so he'll probably keep his place. Come on booooys. UTFT
