Dyche is climbing a mountain and doing OK, not relegation form under him. As for your 'were you at Finch Farm' comments...some of us have a job and a life beyond football. It is entertainment, albeit one with a strange pull on the emotions. But don't be getting all kopite war medals about it. The reason we stayed up was a raucus full house, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and the fact there were three worse teams. Not a blue flare outside the ground or at Finch Farm. Fireworks never won a football match.
I never said it did. I believe what kept us up was a good comeback against Palace, because put quite simply, that’s the exact facts. Did certain things play a part? Flares, bus welcoming’s, DCL, yes they did, even Dele Ali played a massive part in that day.

No kopite war medals here mate. It’s not a ‘I did this you didn’t do that’. I myself work every weekend so only get to goto the games which fall in a week night or if I luckily get a sat or Sunday off, however I just can’t have people saying ‘thats it, I give up, we are down’.

Anyone from 12th beyond could go down in my opinion. Palace’s form at the moment is relegation form. Let’s just keep hoping this all clicks soon and we can go out and win a load of games. IDWT.

Pickford

Coleman Keane Tarkowski Godfrey

Iwobi Doucouré Gana Onana McNeil

Gray

Subs: Holgate, Mina, Begović, Mykolenko, Maupay, Davies, Coady, Garner, Simms.

Out: Patterson, Calvert-Lewin, Townsend (all injured).

Hopefully a quick trial for Toney where they decide to be lenient and give him an immediate one game ban so he misses Goodison and is back to score against all our rivals in the run in 🤣

I don't know why but I think we will be OK. If Dyche does it then he deserves a medal with the striker situation. Apologies by the way for the Kopite comment. Should never post when influenced by Jack Daniels.

4-0. Why is DCL wearing a Mexican wrestler style mask, 4 stone heavier... the big reveal on his hattrick to reveal Rondon back as a free agent.

Pandemonium.

The Ron explains his new found fitness is after Big Dunc put him on a vegan diet.

Tom Davies also cuts his hair and it coincides with him scoring the 4th.

Meanwhile away from the cheap seats, the board would have to engage in a nunchuk battle with irate fans so they don't show up.

Yes, we're playing better under Dyche. But I said it in November that we needed to replace Lampard before the World Cup. We didn't and we've left the new manager with no leeway.

My take is based on what I see before me. Fact is, over the last 30 years, the so-called "pessimists" among us have been largely correct about Everton and had their "negativity" largely borne out. It's the "optimists" who have been exposed as delusional. I mean, we all maintain hope - but my expectation is we've probably ran out of road.

So, for me, this week will be a coming to terms with the situation kind of week. Here's to a win next weekend, but I think I'll try to step off the rollercoaster now. Last season was more than enough, and I saw 94 and 98 like many more on here.
I hate to say this but there are some on here who would rather they were proved right than Everton win points and stay up.
By the way it is spelled "Facht," agent Rafael.

I think we will be seeing Patterson, Garner and hopefully DCL back into the squad.

I thought we played well v Villa and Forest until we couldn't impact the starting XI so with a trio of better bench players, we can help us push over the line in the last 30 mins of the game.

I hope Keane isn't too involved and maybe give Godfrey another chance at left back. IF DCL is available I'd like to see him introduced as a sub because he could have a real impact off the bench and I thought Gray earned his spot v Forest

Pickford
Patterson - Coady - Tarkowski - Godfrey
Iwobi - Gueye - Onana - McNeil
Doucoure - Gray

We have to keep the pressure on teams around us so a good home win is a must.

Haha my wife is a Liverpool season ticket holder mate. Don’t worry, I have it all.

No offence taken.

I keep doing predictions on;

No matter how many times I do them, I see it going to the final game of the season against Bournemouth at home where we will win and send them down. I obviously hope this isn’t the case but I’ve done about 3 of these in recent weeks and I just can’t see past it.

I have Southampton, Bournemouth, Forest, then Leeds, then us.

Absolute must win.

Chelsea (A), Spurs (H) and Man Utd (A) follow this match.

If we don't win this, I think we're as good as relegated.

[If anyone wants to send an actual preview, feel free and I'll update the thread]

We’ll win the next game and take points off the next three. They need the points just as much as we do and haven’t exactly been setting the place on fire…..
