Would honestly consideer playing barry at LB against leicester unless garbutt is fit, baines has been an absolute shadow of what we know him to be.

Distin suddenly looks so comfortable on the ball, same goes with duffy too, the improvement in his passing is impressive, hes still no maldini but more than good enough, played some good balls forward to feet.

Ross played some nice through balls also, he looks quite sharp
 
Naismith plays best central just behind Lukaku and Mirellas playing wider and cutting in, remember his performance against Arsenal last year?

Think the three of the playing in that formation with Besic , McCarthy and Gibson/Barry midfield. Back four of Baines/Oviedo 2 from Jags/Distin/Stones, and Coleman will be our best starting team......

Edit - forget that, it's rubbish, where does Barkley fit into the above.

Fair enough. I see stuff like a decent touch, great movement and awareness and lots of selfless running up front dragging defenders about and making options for a pass. I also see him being very good in the air for his height and some decent finishing.

I doubt he'll be one of the first names on the team sheet but he will play an important part, he's settled well into this league now and will score us important goals.
 
Sometimes you read comments, sometimes you get angry, sometimes your about to responed but then sometimes you realise kids are Evertonians too.

It's hard to tell if your debating an ignorant person or just a youthful mind. Because both require different types of explanation.

I might be crucified for saying this BUT I think Besic has the skills to be a very good winger...maybe not a bad option to try him there at some stage IF we run into a problem on the wings due to injury etc...

The problem with Naismith is all he's good at is finishing due to his decent movement, he's too light weight and not skilful enough for anything else.

When we're being pressed and the other team is on top he offers absolutely nothing.

He basically needs the team to make him look good.
 
shows we still need a few more players in, deffo a striker and a winger...hibbo looks out his depth at the moment too but Besic looks great tho i think he will b picking up yellow cards for fun, prem refs wont wear him flying in every few tackles
