Quite please with how we look, plenty of reasons to be optimistic especially with a couple of signings imminent. Really hope we are looking at another winger too, Gordon looks terrible.

We have made some absolute new negative signing whoopers this pre season....

I'm not on about Everton here, I'm talking about this forum... A needless challenge by Doucs and we go in delighted. Compared to the game against Chelsea a few months back when Pickford had the game of his life we have been really organised. Apart from Sterling causing problems never once felt they would have scored in that half.

Plenty positives from that first half for me. Bit early for all this throwing the toys out of the pram.

Mina was there ready to block the shot, no need for Doucoure to do that. Stupidity. And that’s probably killed us now. Can’t see a way back. Not enough threat or cutting edge.

Be better off getting Gray off and Alli up front

I disagree. We see those kinds of challenges inside the box every game and theyre not given. Defenders do the same and worse in every corner situation, yet its not given. Unless theres been a change in how refs judge these situations i dont understand how that was a pen.

Stonewall pen, didn't even need a replay to see that.

Same here. We were doing just enough to have a shot of winning this until that stupid penalty. We always are our worst enemy it’s unbelievable
