Man utd and real Madrid destroyed teams of this ability in the same conditions. I know it's a friendly but you just expect better. Fair enough good start but second part of the first half was just us giving them the ball. These are probably same level as bury and they are playing better than us after our goals.

Please remember both those teams scored the majority of their goals against the reserves in the last 30 minutes of their match. Give us time, game's not there yet, and DC United actually looks like they are not following the same strategy as Seattle.

We didn't because its not always as simple as it seems on the surface.

Take Cahill and his goals out, add player x who will improve the team and help other players score Cahills goals plus more.

I accept that Cahill is limited. I really can't imagine a situation though where we could say that we can do without his 10 goals a season. Is Beckford capable of another 5-10 to help make up the difference? Can Ossie go from 4 goals during a campaign to 10?
