I'm actually torn between Lennon, Kone and Naismith. I think Naismith should start because he always seems to have a good game against them.
It's a shame Cleverly/Mirrallas won't make this but id be inclined to pick Lennon myself. I see what your saying about Naismith and the Derby though. I just think he's more effective as a sub coming on in general. He's been pretty poor the last two games since his hat trick granted.

The team I would like to see is

Howard

Galloway Stones Jags Coleman

Barry McCarthy

Kone/Naismith Barkley Deulofeu

Lukaku

If Stones and Coleman start, then we should use the right wing to exploit the space Moreno leaves behind him when he bombs forward as Coleman and Del are fast and can get the defenders positioning awry. On the left I'm torn between Kone and Naismith. Kone can hold up the ball well, link up with Rom and score but Naismith is the sort of snide you need in a game like this and his pressing and general wind-up merchant antics could be good.

If Stones and/or Jags are out I'd like to see Lennon on the right and Del on the left as their pressing will ease pressure as I'm sure they're going to try and target Galloway and/or Funes Mori if he plays.

I hope we take a leaf out of West Ham's book and play like we did with Utd at home this year. Catch them on the break, get McCarthy forward when we have to, get Lukaku to drift out to the right and bully whoever they have playing in Shaw's place

It's sound that team mate, if I watch the game in a mirror like.

The reverse psychology in my office is hilarious. The reds proper crying it in already. Few blues saying even on a bad run you can beat us because we're Derby bottlers. Everyone playing it cool ha ha. Personally I think If we get Ross in the game picking up those pockets of space he can win the game and take his rightful place in Derby folklore, he's due a big performance sooner or later.

Every year I think we'll win due to our form, their form, our squad, their squad, etc., etc... and it just doesn't matter.

We don't show up.

We have rarely showed up in the last decade of this fixture.

We'll lose this one 2-1. Sorry to be this way but I won't get fooled again.

There's no one left who belongs to Liverpool. It's weird. For the first time in forever there's no local academy product to be the thorn in our side. Most of their team haven't even been there 5 years. This is the year we should turn the tide.

Shocking stuff that. I guess at the same time, we really only have one that'll play (Barkley).

...Two that could but probably won't feature (Osman and Browning) and two others that will be hanging out in suit and ties (Pennington, Hibbert)...

Okay, I guess we aren't super terrible in that regard, but still.

Plus we can half claim Baines as he's from Kirkby even if he wasn't able to make it in to our youth teams

We'll smash these... Proper smash them.
(I'm currently in a betting league and the biggest pool fan I know has chosen an Everton handicap win as his bet.)

We have a better team and our players are Everton through and through. They have a lot of journeyman players and new players who won't get the derby, and they don't have a Gerrard or Carragher to get them fired up about it.

Can't see them getting anything to be honest.

The young generation we have is ambitious and wants to win, especially in games like that matter. Take last week for example. 1-0 down at WBA Moyes would be playing for a draw. Once 2-0 down with his negative approach to games it would've been over. But under Martinez we believe we can do something. That is the difference between Moyes and Martinez. One makes us believe we're underdogs. One makes us believe we can go toe to toe with anybody. And that is why many Blues are confident going into this derby. It's not like before where we were confident but still afraid. We have nothing to fear.
