Considering how average the RS have been, to not have won for 5 years is shocking.

We must turn them over good style on Sunday, nothing to be scared of at all.

Doesn't matter how pathetic the Liverpool team is, or how beaked up Deulofeu is, we somehow always mess the derbies up. Annoys me aswell that most kopites are smugly confident every time going into this game.
Lets just hope we continue to be boss and stuff them on sunday

Les hope so, it's them half & half scarves that really wind me up WTF is that all about ?

The more I get closer I know we are going to dominate and Sturridge is then going to nick it

Since we last won in the league I've acquired two degrees worked two jobs and lived in three different parts of the country

Please Everton. Just please

Sturridge, apparently, is not fit to play two games a week. Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge will be rested for the Europa League visit of Swiss side Sion on Thursday. Belgium international Divock Origi, who has started just one match for the Reds since returning from a loan spell at Lille, is likely to play up front.

Forwards Christian Benteke (hamstring) and Roberto Firmino (leg) are also missing for Brendan Rodgers's side. Skipper Jordan Henderson, out until mid-November with a broken foot, and defender Dejan Lovren are out.

To put this hoodoo into some perspective :

Since the semifinal in 2012 we've played them 6 times - 5 draws and one defeat. It was a bad defeat and it hurt, but I think that Martinez will have learned some lessons from that game.

The two most influential players in Merseyside derbies in the last 5 years by some distance are Gerrard and Suarez. Both now gone.

Anything can happen on Sunday - especially with Atkinson as referee. But for me the smart money is on us to win.

We need to just think about ourselves on Sunday, if i was Martinez in the run up to the game, when talking to the squad i would just talk about what we are doing and what we are going to do, we really don't to be worried about them. In the past too much we have had to have one eye on there main players, but those days are gone. If all we think about is scoring we will win, starting thinking about stopping Liverpool and we wont be playing our natural game.

....to be fair, given our track record it's not surprising they are smug.
