All the Liverpool fans I know are made up. They had players out and the conditions would have been in our favour

Kick and rush fc would probably prefer high winds I would imagine.

They'll have Konate, MacAllister, Jota probably back too throwing their weight around. I'd have preferred today...but if its too dangerous it is.

I feel very sorry though for our hardy supporters who have started their regular journeys to the Old Lady....hope they stay safe.

Salah could pull a hammy from now until then.

Most of inland games will probably go ahead as the storm is battering the north West coast and all of Wales, and they postponed all their games yesterday.

I understand this weather being a leveller talk but I think we've had a touch here. They're bang in form, we're not despite Wednesday's result. The gap at the top takes the pressure off them. Get them under the lights, with a fixtures pile up, and teams right up their backsides.

Obviously it's only a football match, I feel for those blues already travelling and more importantly hope everyone is safe.

Everton’s Premier League fixture against Liverpool, scheduled for 12:30pm today (Saturday, December 7), has been postponed. Following a Safety Advisory Group meeting at Goodison Park, attended by officials from both clubs, as well as representatives from Merseyside Police and Liverpool City Council this morning, it was decided that, due to the risk to safety in the local area due to strong wind gusts, and an amber severe wind warning that remains in place until 6am on Sunday, today’s fixture should be postponed on safety grounds. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank supporters for their understanding. Whilst we appreciate this will be deeply disappointing for supporters, the safety of fans, staff and players is of paramount importance. Information relating to a rearranged date for the fixture will be announced in due course. All tickets purchased for the original fixture will remain valid for the rearranged fixture.

Glad its called off. I was planning to make a rare visit to my Bullens Road seat. It will remain empty. Sensible decision for old scroats like me.
