Match Thread Everton vs Liverpool - POSTPONED

"always" ?
Yes always, the current rules mean we stay in our box... and we could win a trophy more than them every year and we still wouldn`t overtake them in the years I`ve got left on this planet... the chances are they will be many many more clear by then. We all live for just 1 trophy in our lifetimes and they do that most seasons these days.

Whats their revenue £600m+, to ours less than £200m

This club will never get back on top, forever in their shadow, as much as that pains me to say.

We are probably mid table in terms of size of club with National League level of thinking... what kind of forward thinking big club would be perfectly satisfied with Dyche? Small club mentality, always have been in the best part of 40 years supporting this club. This takeover will change the direction from where we are now but we will end of the 7th-12th best team not ever catching the top 6.

We will never play Champions League football.... it`s a sad reality and when we are just existing further up the table we wont be Burnley we will be Brentford or if we are lucky Brighton.

I`ve made my peace, expect nothing and don`t be disappointed.

This is good news. I seem to remember another derby at analfield being postponed a few years back. We were in a terrible run of form and they were flying. By the time we played them we were a bit better and snagged a draw. I think Gary Speed scored.

I understand safety should take precedent over any match, as someone who traversed 12 hrs through plane and train from U.S. for the first time in my life. I work in social services, so to be candid I don't have a lot of resources so right now after spending 300 pounds on a resale ticket that I will be unlikely to use or be able to get a refund on , while just being prevented from experiencing a historic event and connecting with fellow toffees, im truly distraught , heading down to London now. The winds were little rowdy but nothing cataclysmic unless something is known that I'm not privy too I think they were overly cautious but as people mentioned the stakes of not being mindful of potential hazards can be tragic so I do understand

It'll definitely end up at the most inconvenient date for Everton, probably at the end of the season on a Tuesday after we've just played on the Sunday and have the early kick off the Saturday after.

Put the violin away lad, you've had years to come over, it's nobody's fault but your own that you chucked all your eggs in the basket of the last Goodison Derby. People have gone to the game on days like this and not made it home.
