Match Thread Everton vs Liverpool - POSTPONED

You dont know my situation I just got my passport for thr first time this year, I have cognitive disabilities and health issues that have affected my quality of life where I was only able to start consistently thriving in live in the last two years , and thr financial cost for me was hefty, so before you say something callous know the full story
Callous? Coz you've spent a lot of money you think people's lives should be put at risk. Cry more lad.

I’m realising I must be the most negative blue in the world with everyone seeming to think we had this in the bag today . I’ve got to be honest This was not my thought process , seems I need to have a serious word with myself .

Anyone who thinks 40k people should walk under trees today needs their head seeing to.

40,000 fans travelling to the ground.

Probably tens of thousands of blues and reds planning on going out to pubs around both grounds and in the city.

The weather is horrendous around here and the chances of a serious injury or worse from a bit of flying debris when you have that many people out and about is pretty high.

Absolutely no way it could go ahead.

No I’m in there same boat as you… hopefully this gets shifted to March, and by then we have less relegation worries than we do now

Yes always, the current rules mean we stay in our box... and we could win a trophy more than them every year and we still wouldn`t overtake them in the years I`ve got left on this planet... the chances are they will be many many more clear by then. We all live for just 1 trophy in our lifetimes and they do that most seasons these days.

Whats their revenue £600m+, to ours less than £200m

This club will never get back on top, forever in their shadow, as much as that pains me to say.

We are probably mid table in terms of size of club with National League level of thinking... what kind of forward thinking big club would be perfectly satisfied with Dyche? Small club mentality, always have been in the best part of 40 years supporting this club. This takeover will change the direction from where we are now but we will end of the 7th-12th best team not ever catching the top 6.

We will never play Champions League football.... it`s a sad reality and when we are just existing further up the table we wont be Burnley we will be Brentford or if we are lucky Brighton.

I`ve made my peace, expect nothing and don`t be disappointed.

You make some good points.

We'll only ever change if the club changes I do believe that's what's about to happen with TFG. They can't wave a magic wand but they can change quite a lot at the club that means we perform like a club that believes it should be winning trophies, winning the league, playing in Europe playing in the CL. It's competitive
as well so it will be tough.

Liverpool have had generations of success but let's not forget they did go 30 years without winning the league. You can view that from different angles obviously we did f-all in that time. But it shows what can happen. Arsenal haven't won the league for 20 years. Man U over a decade. We might become on the pitch (live in hope) as successful as Chelsea or City in the last 20 odd years, that will do me. Doesn't matter if they still have more success overall more titles, European Cups. That's the past. It's the future. Hopefully our future will be bright.

Simply not true.

There needs to be money to invest through the new stadium commercial revenue streams.

The capital generated needs to then be injected into the squad.

If you look at the RS they invested successfully and brought in top class performers. If we do the same then there is no barrier to our upside
