A quick word to anyone like myself who is making their way down to Goodison tonight:

Just get behind the team from the off, please. I don't subscribe to the notion that the atmosphere is one thing contributing to the poor form, but what I do know is that tonight could well be a season defining game for us and as such, even if we go a goal down, we've gotta rally behind the team.

Forget what you think of the manager, Everton need to win this for Everton and for the fans, not Ronald Koeman's future.

Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Agree. Koeman could do the players a favour tonight by actually picking a sensible team with shape and width but we all know that's not going to happen. As a result, the performance will likely be dire and the fans will get on the players backs. If that Guardian team is true the outcome is inevitable.

Shocking as we've been most of the season and much as I dislike Koeman, I still can't see an Everton team getting nothing out of tonight and the next 2 games. Surely the law of averages has to operate for us at some point?

All things equal, sure, but the law of averages doesn't account for Ronald Koeman and poor players.

3-1 Lyon

would be good to go with something like this

pickford
kenny keane jags baines
gana
davies rooney
vlasic kev
DCL

ganas only job is to win the ball and cover fullbacks just stay as a shield for the defence
Swap Rooney for Sig, and I like it. Kev should 100% start tonight in my opinion. He won't though.
