I never thought Williams would play but I was convinced Martina would. He clearly isn't having Kenny and Holgate looks to have sealed his place as RB for now.

I'm happy with the team, would've preffered Sigurdsson playing, if they play well tonight then Sundays team selection and performance will be interesting.

To anyone moaning. While I am not a fan of Koeman and want him far far away from the club, he is doing what we have been screaming for.

He is playing two wingers.
He is only playing one holding midfielder.
He is only playing one number 10 (and remember klaasen got to the final of this cup last year and has looked good in Europe so far for us so imo has picked the right one)

Yes the defence is an issue but clearly jags has a problem so williams has to play. Baines can't hack every game and we have no other left back (garbutt is far from good enough) so holgate is filling in.
Martina likes to get forward, which will allow vlasic to cut in and vlasic workrate might be enough to support martina defending.

This is the most balanced team we have had out all season.
