Wanted to see Lookman start but he won’t be match fit Vlasic has played well, as did Mirallas when he came on last week so I’m happy we finally got some width. 6-5 to the blue boys

Holgate might be OK at left back as Traore on their right is left footed and should be trying to come inside more often than not.

Depay V Martina is crucial you would think. Schneiderlin V Fekir too, he's banging in goals this season.

To anyone moaning. While I am not a fan of Koeman and want him far far away from the club, he is doing what we have been screaming for.

He is playing two wingers.
He is only playing one holding midfielder.
He is only playing one number 10 (and remember klaasen got to the final of this cup last year and has looked good in Europe so far for us so imo has picked the right one)

Yes the defence is an issue but clearly jags has a problem so williams has to play. Baines can't hack every game and we have no other left back (garbutt is far from good enough) so holgate is filling in.
Martina likes to get forward, which will allow vlasic to cut in and vlasic workrate might be enough to support martina defending.

This is the most balanced team we have had out all season.

Good to see someone looking at the line up with a glass half full attitude for once.
Too many just want to winge.

again he has actually made a change or two that we wished would be made. Good to see two wingers, a bit of structure to that team, i would have rather have seen us pick a stronger team though as opposed to arsenal. We HAVE to win tonight otherwise it's all over for europe. League isn't quite as important to me given the start of the season.
