....that’s a bit like putting the cart before the horse. I suggest the atmosphere is flat because of the performances. Indeed, the fans have been very patient given what’s being served up. I’ve always been a watcher as opposed to a singer but I don’t get all of this get behind the team stuff, the fans are showing real loyalty turning up in such numbers.

am not a huge singer myself but when it happens i go with it .. prem games i can understand people going every week getting dross but euro games we should be making it a bit more hostile

Just get behind the team from the off, please. I don't subscribe to the notion that the atmosphere is one thing contributing to the poor form, but what I do know is that tonight could well be a season defining game for us and as such, even if we go a goal down, we've gotta rally behind the team.

Forget what you think of the manager, Everton need to win this for Everton and for the fans, not Ronald Koeman's future.

According to sky team news, Keane and Jagielka both missing, Christ any enthusiasm I had for this match is rapidly disintegrating.

Surely a vocal crowd does inspire a player on though? I get the professional doing his job and all that but for me a crowd is one thing I expected a player to feed off?
