Took the dog Thi morning for a walk on the beach this morning, but we made a sharp exit when the rain was turning to sleet, I ran into the papershop to pick up a racing post and a paper for the tv magazine.

I stupidly picked up the mirror, just been reading Derek McGovern betting column and he is loving us struggling.

" My bet of the day is for Man City to make it five defeats in a row for the side that lives in the shadow of big Red. Wait a minute people, I know the odds for that are very short but hear me out.

As we all realise now that last season was a complete fluke for Roberto, he is now transforming this bitter club into Wigan, he hopes to process this further with the capture of Maloney. The scoreline today will resemble one of the Wigan drubbing of yesteryear so I'm saying back Man City on the -2 goal handicap at 5-1. Easy money and you use the winning notes to wash the tears of laughter from your face as you hear the boo's from Goodison on match of the day "

You named your dog Thi?

Is that real? What an utter cart

This game doesn't really matter as it's almost a cert that we'll lose, and to be honest even if we were playing well then we'd take a draw all day long against these.

The real test is WBA - I'm just hoping for a decent performance, keep the score low and no injuries or suspensions.

I'm new to posting on here, but have always come on to have a mooch round the site. Was always impressed with how good you were at the wind - up.

devo'd missing the game first game ive missed in ages cant even watch
come on you blue boys :( 'family member in ozzy' not looking for sympathy like just sayin
its the only time ill ver miss a match but ffs why decide to go there today out of all days

Would take a draw all day long, especially if we play better.

I still think we can win it but that's heart more than head obviously. Sad really!

Should play this team Robles, Coleman, Stones, Jags, Baines, Besic, McCarthy, Mirallas, Barkley, McGeady, Lukaku.

But that would mean everyone was playing in a proper position so Barkley will be out wide, Barry will be in for McCarthy who is probably still injured, and you can smell Alcaraz starting from here. Aguero had him on toast last year and will again if he starts.

Hoping Stonesy gets the nod ahead of Alcaraz.

What bothers me is if McCarthy was fit it would be Besic to make way, not Barry.
