I can see it now we beat these and then lose to Southampton in the semi.

Surprisingly not nervous about tonight. Not sure if its because I expect a loss due to it being city or because the club have finally made me realise to not get emotionally invested as they have been letting us down for over 25 years.

Unfortunately, I think the only thing to be decided is whether we’re all fuming with a 0-5 horror show or a gutsy but ultimately futile effort in a 1-3 later on.

With a fully fit squad I’d have a bit more faith in us nicking it but even then that would require our best and a bad game from them. With the players we have fit, our dog poo form and - United aside - their blistering form, there’s no question what the result will be.

Personally don't think we do either but nothing surprises me anymore. Could be one of those where we click and City have one of those days. Virginia might have the game of his life and we score a few set pieces.

Going to be asking a lot of Virginia if we we try to sit back and suck up pressure.

I hope the kid has a worldie and the back 4 or 5 too. Take our chances when they come and pray they have an off day.

No confidence at all but these are usually the times when they surprise us and pull it off. Not when we're counting on the regular dispatching of Burnley at home but these games where people write us off they seem to come out for.
