I remember Tony Parkes winning the UEFA cup for Spurs, and Nigel Spink coming in for Jimmy Rimmer for Villa when they won the European Cup. My abiding memory of reserve goalies for us is Bobby Mimms costing us the double in 1986!

With you all the wat there @Eggs, and as you say, the longer we remain level, the greater our prospects. As the game wears on, they could become vulnerable to being too adventurous and, a swift break, set piece or what have you. and Everton capitalise and, marching on we go with a DCL late eighty minute winner.
City are in with a chance of all four majors, but, no team wins all four, so let this be the one they fail in.
