Finally got that first win of the season, we have seen on the pitch the difference from last year but that first win has excluded us till today. This will breed more confidence to carry into the saints match

Just read the West Ham forum match thread… many really beginning to calls for DMs head.. choosing his old favourites and not the new boys. I think he’s earned a bit of patience from them no? Really slating Bowen and Fornals. Wondering if they got a dud with this Paqueta marquee signing chap.

Find it difficult to vote for Gray as he is just so wasteful. If I am being harsh, he’s a one trick pony. Cut inside, shoot.

Even when he gets an assist, you know it’s misplaced shot across goal.

He’s dangerous, yes. And two or three times a season it comes off. But I have lost count of the number of dangerous attacks that come to an end at his feet this season already

A nice win and it comes on the eighth anniversary of my father's death. He died the morning of the 4-1 win over Wolfsburg in the Europa League. Told him of today's result on a visit to the cemetery. I'm sure he and my grandfather were both smiling. Not as much as me, though.

I think he’s brilliant to be honest. Tall, powerful, with very decent technique on top. He’s got the lot.

Apart from a left foot. Needs to be reasonably two footed if he aspires to be a decent international player.

He was by far our best attacking player in the first half
