I just watched the "highlights" on Sky, despite not making Begovic work, they still managed to make West Ham look like they were pushing.

We were comfortable all afternoon. I'm usually not one to pile on to the "agenda" bandwagon, but its hard to not be miffed by that footage on Sky.

We had a lot of those types of games at Goodison last season where there wasn't a lot between the teams - and lost all of them.

The defence does look a lot better while the whole balance of the team has improved massively.

I'm not going to name him but the previous manager looks even worse with every passing week.

I think we will play better this season and lose, it's a game that we could have easily drawn or lost, very little between the sides but to remain winless after 7 games would have been extremely harsh on us.

Just dont take anything from any of the outside media about the club, same people who think lampard first to get the sack. Just really happy that we finally look like we can defend a lead now and have cm who can actually cover the pitch with pace

We had less shots in total, less shots on target and 9 less corners than West Ham - and we were playing at home

I'm delighted that we won - but to suggest it was a vintage performance is beyond the pale. It had score draw written all over it
