Grey excellent today, he gets a lot of stick at times but he’s very dangerous when he plays like that.

Notable shouts for Patterson, Onana, Gana and Maupay. (brilliant goal btw - I don’t think the commentary made enough of a fuss about it!). Pretty good team performance all round tbf, game on game improvement and unbeaten in 6!

I'm ok with this.

This is the first time this season we are trying to play on the front foot and not sit deep and counter.

If we had this team from the start of the season we would have wins by now.
How many players on the bench and still injured are going to force their way into this 11? Pickford excluded.
Give them games to gel, be a team.
Keep playing a settled 11 and the future is much brighter. imho

good result that, not only was that the sort of game we could easily of lost it was far more comfortable than we have been at 1:0 for a long long time.

I thought that was a very good performance. Gray was great, very exciting if he can keep this form up. So much more steel in defence and attack.

I think we’ll be fine with this squad once we’re properly in to our stride. And a squad with good foundations to build on.
