Everton u18s win the mini derby 3-1 [there 1st home derby win in 3 years] and MOVE UP TO 2ND PLACE,this was to say it lightly a very hard fought win and we defended very well with some good keeping from the keeper as well,Liverpool will probably say it was one sided in there favour,and it would be hard to disagree near enough for the whole game i would say

The other team man city u18s that started on same points as us and liverpool before ko,lost for the 3rd time in 6,this time 4-1 home to 2nd bottom west brom,2 draws in that 6 games for man city,they are having hard trouble v a lot of the bottom teams,they lost 5-2 home to bottom team Newcastle ,toons 1st win at the time,about a month ago

before that EVERTON U18S have a semi final cup game home to Chelsea u18s next week in the u18s premier league cup

Could be, I believe we played their u16s prior to the u18 game, unconfirmed one time score was 2-1 to us. Still a schoolboy . Ryan Astley a schoolboy too, captain of our u16 and Wales U17s teams. There was a tweet before Christmas that he , and two other Wales u16/17 schoolboys in our u16s had signed Scholarship forms. This won’t be officially announced until July .

5 from the north west (back 4 and Curtis Jones) all the others bought in (Canada, Portugal, Norway, Ireland, London) with more on the bench for Liverpool.

MAN UTD U18S lost 2-1 in injury time to 3rd bottom newcastle,man utd actually scored to make it 1-1,then the scorer for man utd missed a late pen to give them the win,the pen was saved,newcastle then won in injury time

I hope we don’t include any of the u18s who’ve recently featured, Hornby, Denny , Collins, I’d save them for the PL u18 Cup semi final against Chelsea on Saturday. It’ll be a good test of just how good they are , possibly the only chance to play Chelsea unless we win our Northern u18 section. Gibson is eligible too but I wouldn’t use him, whenever we bring “regular” U23s down to u18 they seem to have difficulty fitting in and we play poorly e.g. Youth Cups over recent years.
