I think our boys have created the better chances, but a soft penalty and bad defending let them down.

Tis the Everton way mate.My stream has gone down with 2 minutes to play
there is a god
Yeah Gibson seems to have been the main Captain since Feeney got injured. As you say he was our youngest player tonight, and far superior in my view to Ouzounidis as a CB....good to see him made skipper, given he’s one of the younger lads. The club seem to favour him at CB over LB, be very interesting if that’s the case going forward.
I watched on LFC tv up to the 3rd goal, obviously the commentary was very biased. But I thought Jones looked a good player.Men against boys tonight, literally really. Liverpool had 2 lads who are probably paid more than our entire under 23's set up in Solanke and Ward. They are a lot older, and more experienced which showed tonight. We are captained by a 17 year old. The differences in size and power really showed tonight.
It's a long way off our strongest under 23's, and thats compounded further with lads like Davies and Banningime being with the first team.
The number 10 Curtis Jones for Liverpool looks a really talented player though. The best they've produced since Sterling. Looks a great talent to me.

I thought Woodburn looked average, even though the commentators were going overboard, when he did the simplest of things.
Not being picky mate but they didn’t produce Sterling. Didn’t they buy him from QPR?Men against boys tonight, literally really. Yeah Curtis Jones is highly rated by the RS and England, he scored a superb goal against us early in the season .Men against boys tonight, literally really. I was impressed with bowler, first time I’ve see him. Looked really comfortable on ball, seemed to go past players easily. I also thought he worked hard and was aggressive. The third looked a foul to me. I've seen Woodbury before and been impressed, but to me the standout player on the pitch was Jones, even more so for a 17 year old. Looks a proper player to me, far in advance of Alexander Arnold who they are all going nuts for.
Difficult to judge our lads really. Ouznadis (sp) is a big lad at the back and still an 18 but looks a way off. Likewise lads like Brammal are a million miles off making it with us. Bowler has impressed me when he's played though. He's comfortable on the ball with a turn of pace.
It's hard for Unsworth though, it's been a difficult year, with lots of transition. Loads of lads out on loan, others moved on like Walsh, some promoted to the first team and then a set of injuries have made it a really hard end to the season, and it shows.
Hopefully we get them all fit again in the summer, can add some decent players to the 23's in the summer, as the lads signed like Bowler and the Dutch lad have done well while DCL has been promoted up.
Shame that Jones is a red really. It's been a while since I was a bit envious of a young local lad being a red, but he's certainly one.
The biased commentary, obviously quick to criticise Hornby. Then they started to praise Solanke for acting as peace maker. 10 seconds later he was booked, made the commentator look a complete idiot.Yeah Curtis Jones is highly rated by the RS and England, he scored a superb goal against us early in the season .
Thought Solanke was an arrogant prick tonight, lording it about and no need for him to get involved in the melee. It wasn’t mistaken identity , both him and Hornby deserved to be booked.
