Everton Youth Teams Thread

My feed gone
What an embarrassing substitution from Unsworth. Taken Gordon off who fresh and only been on 10mins and leaving Dowell and broadhead on.

Haven’t seen Gordon fir a while, looks like he’s gone taller and really powerful

Didn't even realise that was Gordon who came on as I'm watching with the sound off. I'd have taken Dowell off and left Broadhead up top to occupy their defenders. Strange decision as you say.

But his first one was reckless and once you have that yellow you effectively have your final warning, so doesn’t matter whether the second was a yellow offence really
So are you saying that the first yellow is not just a yellow but also a final warning, so if you make another foul you're off?

Hard fought win that. Thought we'd have been a bit more dominant given the team we had out. You can see why they've only conceded 3 in 9 games though.

I bet there were a few scouts watching that for loans come January, so what did we learn tonight.? Most of it we knew already , including our inability to put a livestream together. Beni is coming back nicely, still needs a bit more fitness but getting forward more. Feeney looks sound enough to be worth a loan to a Chanpionship side . As has been said, Gordon looks like he’s grown a few more inches , puzzled he hadn’t had more game time. I was disappointed with Adeniran, he’s a strong and powerful mid , but I was looking to see him more active going forward, he seemed to turn back a lot when he had the ball. Sambou, Broadhead, Charsley decent enough at this level but nowhere near first team level .
