Hmm it's an interesting question. You'd have to say - in my opinion -, from current U23 squad, the best/oldest players are:

Feeney, Virginia, Gibson, Markelo, Adeniran, Hornb, Bowler

However I'd like all of them to go out on loan next season.

Are Sambou and Foulds any good ? Think they've been mentioned a few times by Unsworth as 'almost ready' for the first team.

Sambou is crap IMO.

Foulds is okay, will make a career in the lower levels, maybe make it to Championship. He's not talented enough as a full-back and not imposing enough as a CB.

Is he worse than what we have upfront in the first team ? Oh right a bit like Pennington, Browning etc then.

Yes, he's clumsy, physically imposing and scores a few blammos but I've never rated him. Will be gone in the Summer I reckon.

...forward players in particular will have to be very special to break through, their skill set and athleticism is so unique.

Of the defenders, I like Lewis Gibson and Ryan Astley both of whom have ability and attitude and progressing to U23 at younger age. Making the step up is massive,though.

Two top drawer saves from Hewelt. I was actually gone post before the game as well I'd rather have had Hilton on goal as I don't rate Hewelt and then he goes and pulls off a couple of blinding saves lol
