We said before the match that we had to work hard, play the way we know we can play and get the win. We did that. The most satisfying is the way we played and also our work rate was top notch. That resulted in a win with 3 great goals.
What do you think is typical for your squad?
We expect to score every game, because we have brilliant forward players. If we keep our shape at the back, we always know we have chances to win the match.

Very nice, very smart. The pitch is also unreal, it looks like a carpet. It really looks good and so are all the facilities.

There was a good mixture of 16/17/18 year olds playing today , and you’d have to say we looked strong in every area with some stand out performances. It’s always hard to gauge what’s down to the age and standard of the opposition but Gordon looked very sharp with balls being played through to him more than he got at U23s level against Leicester.

The 2 teams we play tomorrow are quite quick,still 0-0 after 25mins,but both should have scored in the last 5mins - Anderlecht with a free header yards out and unmarked from a cross,while Inter side footer just wide from close range

A guy I know has his own Kids Coaching business and was invited over to the PSV campus for a week, he posted some pics of their facilities, it’s very impressive, presumably their renovation started under Brands’ direction. Hope he was watching today.

Anonymous most of the season = cup half empty. Improved second half and was a success = cup half full.

He asked why Bowler never gets any love in this thread and I said it’s because he was anonymous most of the season so he’s not gonna see much praise on here when he didn’t deserve it most matches. Simple.

He was very good the 2nd half of the season which is banfreds arguement. Think he's saying he's a glass half full person cos the 2nd 50% he was good and you're a glass half empty person cos you think he was anonymous 1st 50%+ of the season.
