That has got to be one of the youngest u18 teams we’ve started in recent years, only two 2nd years starting , to keep up their winning ways is really incredible , you have to hand it to Paul Tait and his coaches virtually a complete new team from last year .

Paul Tait is an outstanding coach should be with the first team no doubts.

Just hope our academy transfer ban isn’t going to hinder our progress next year. As always with these young academy players, credit must go to the scouts (for recognising their talent) and coaches for developing it.

Always hard to tell , but we’ve got 4 or 5 kids at u16 who’ve seemed to be well regarded, though the club rarely/never says anything about them when they are this young. Plus we had two players Reece Welch who started and Katia Kouyate on the bench who are schoolboys and become Scholars next year. So it looks like previous good scouting means we’ll have our own home grown kids coming through.

Yeah that’s him , similar hair to Onyango , tall lanky and if he keeps growing going to be a big guy.Theres a picture of him in one of the England u16/17 teams and he’s one of the biggest there .
Haven’t really caught much of a glimpse of Kouyate, he’s an attacker who’s come off the bench in a couple of games West Brom maybe other games, and replaced an attacker.

Oddly in the u23s league,the top 3 before this weekends games,all drew 2-2 the past day or so and all 3 were 2 -0 down,something of a 1st i would think, Just thought i would say that because i am bored lol

...I’m still in the dark regarding what is happening with Lewis Gibson’s contract situation. Have to say, it looks increasingly like he’s refusing a new deal.

Everton 1-0 - Onyango on 40mins v Sunderland in The u18s Premier League Cup is how it ends, The other game in Everton's Group ended 1-1 between Fulham and Norwich, Everton u18s next game in this comp is away to Fulham 26th October 11am kick off.

After beating Blackpool 4-3 in the 1st round,EVERTON u18s NOW PLAY AWAY TO BLACKBURN IN Q/F of the Interfit senior cup [Lancashire senior cup] - date to be decided-has to be by November 30th

The Q/F Game will be played on Wed October 9th, kick-off 7pm.
Blackburn are the holders after beating Burnley 2-0 and have also won this Comp more than any other team,we have won it 7 times
