Everton Youth Teams Thread

Where are City in the league? Do they routinely take the league serious?
Man City were 4th at start of the day, 1 point off Top, having won 5 & lost 1 game in 9 in the league, They had conceded 11 before game (not 9 as i said), so a win for them would have put them top, they also beat us 7-0 the final game in May

They have won the league the last 2 years, they take it all very seriously, so a very good win

Thank you, really positive result then. It’s hard to know and I find it hard to see/ follow at times when you switch off for a few weeks

I really liked the look of Okoronkwo in the couple of FA Youth Cup matches that were streamed last season. A bit inconsistent but he was the one player who seemed to have something different about him - good close control and dribbling to go with his size and strength. Only recently 18 so plenty of potential if he is properly developed.

….think it was McAllister (no 11), terrific pass for the Stan Mills goal. Often a single moment highlights a talented footballer.
Yeah nice pass from McAllister there. It’s great to see Charlie Whitaker getting back to his old form. Although they typed over his first goal he was involved in the build up too, his second goal was a cracker , it was his shot that their goalkeeper parried for Price to score and an assist as well for another goal , so quite an impact from him.
