Yeah it was a Puma 'Next Gen' camp/ad campaign. Unless he got injured after that camp there's no other reason he wouldn't be involved. There were rumours in May he was off but he has plenty of time on his contract as others have mentioned and I can't see there being too much demand for him

The club has a model whereby they bring academy players through and almost regardless of their talent send them out to a lower league club on loan hoping to get a sale.

That's what we're likely seeing here.

He should be on the bench and getting minutes here and there. Why have Everton stopped doing that? Yes they get on the bench bit never get on the pitch.

The absence of European matches that are 'dead' no doubt contributes, but nevertheless other clubs in the bottom half offer their kids chances.

This club is rotten to the core. You just cant carry out this King Herod of a policy toward the kids and expect to get more competitive.

Sadly the club is that unstable and the squad that poor we probably just can’t risk these kids in the league. I would have liked too as well; maybe keep him in the first team squad till January then reassess but if he stayed and never played would be a real waste of time.

…nope, the players they are bringing through are not deemed good enough. They get little monies for the vast majority of them.

Believe me, if they unearth a real talent they won’t go on loan as Dyche would want to use him.
