Everton Youth Teams Thread

Anybody here how the lad who went off injured is?
I know on the commentary they said he was OK but havnt seen anything since.

No mate and I doubt we'll even find out if it's a serious one. I think their version of "ok" was that he'd stopped using gas to numb the pain. Looked like he smashed into the street end wall, I remember Hinchcliffe doing similar

….was thinking about Graeme and John, both were decent but I don’t remember either at Everton (although my watching Everton Academy games every Saturday for many years ceased after the move to FF). John has had a career in the game.
I think John left quite early , never made it to the Scholar stage , and as you say moved around the lower leagues scoring goals. He was at Wrexham for a while.

Tbf I imagine his brother had a lot to do with him being here.

That's it, he won't be here for long now but when they signed it was either both or neither.

TBF to Odin, he's done very well out of it. He's got himself a very big contract that will set him up quite well although I don't think he's made any effort to look after his money.

There’s nothing in the official match report , but there again they’ve reported Sherif‘s side footed strike as “Sherif rose effortlessly above the defence, heading the ball past the keeper and into the net for a 1-0 lead.” They probably got mixed up with his second goal.

Those stupid dips that run off the pitch are an accident waiting to happen.
You often see players not being able to stop on them.
Any idea why they have them?
