That’s the greatest number of 1st year Scholars I’ve seen in the first day match squad, 10 out of 12 , only Poland and Loney missing , I presume they’re injured as they didn’t feature in pre season. It looks very encouraging that they’re a decent bunch , plus the fact that our 2nd years except those playing today and George Morgan and Armstrong have been not so great. We really need to give Goodness Gospel-Eze his full name !

, Dixon featuring in two for u21s, he’s worth a bench spot on Saturday and a start against Doncaster. Normally I’d say it’s too early and he’s too defensively weak to feature in the PL , but we’re crap in the RB position anyway so get on with the fast track process.Welcome
