Positives
Virginia is a decent keeper, if nowhere near Pickford's level.
Armstrong looks better each time I see him.
OK, Beto scored two and made another but still...

Otherwise
Lindstrom - a set-piece specialist does not a PL player make. Some nice touches but bullied by Tranmere players.
Interesting to see Okoronkwo dropping back into midfield.
Probably too much competition in midfield but I do enjoy watching Butterfield play.
Dixon - no, not yet. Even if the alternative is McNeil, Garner or Holgate.

We suddenly came alive in the last 10-15 minutes after ambling about for most of the game. Metcalfe was my standout overall.

Hopefully those 95 minutes for Beto & Lindstrom will have helped them with their fitness, Lindstrom in particular seemed to be going through the motions a bit and then popped up with a clever assist for the second goal late on.

Metcalfe and Armstrong maybe something to look forward to in the future!
