Would've been a good opportunity to get a few 18s in there considering the opposition and the fact they're only travelling to Manchester tomorrow.

…good point, I did hear the RS withdrew Gerrard for a while when he had a growth spurt but no idea if that’s true.

Had a back issue with his growth spurt. That's what the missus was told anyway.

Thought Apter had a few nice touches there. Never seen much from Butler I have to be honest, if Beaumont-Clark was a bit more physical he’d be a decent talent as well.

Again really like Thomas at CB, looks the part and he’s better on the ball than our usual centre backs.

Butler was training with the first team this week, a de ent player for his age and you feel at the moment that any reasonably good full back will have a chance of progressing ……if they’re good enough.

Surprises me, don’t see much really but I guess he’s got a bit of pace. Looks way off it most games I’ve seen.

As Dyche would say "you could smell that coming" even at 2-0. Never the better side and the answer was taking off a striker for a below average centre half and surrendering any onus to attack again. Lucky to escape with a point.
