Glad Harvey Foster played well, he was brilliant in the Next Gen cup, seems he's maybe had injury troubles this season?

Where does he play ??Glad Harvey Foster played well, he was brilliant in the Next Gen cup, seems he's maybe had injury troubles this season?
Olayiwola went from being quite timid and flattering to deceive to being impressive in the last ten minutes. You can see why they think highly of him with his ball carrying.Well that was £5 well spent! Think we all knew Armstrong was a step above this level but Clarke also looked brilliant. Could be really shrewd business signing him, a natural right forward.
Shout out to Pickford for making a really sharp save at about 20 mins too, game was just about in the balance at that point but complete dominance afterwards.
Nice to see Olayiwola too. Had a shy 10 minutes then realised he was miles better than the forest players and started taking the p. Wonderful stuff.
Where does he play ??
Mate you’re obsessed with Dyche, there was a thread the other week ( Chermitti? ) that you turned into a Dyche thread. Why turn a comment about Armstrong into a defence of Dyche? Of course there’s a massive gap for a 17 year old to bridge but you don’t do it by bringing him on with 3 mins to go in a match where we’re 4-0 up and he’s so eager to make an impression he gets himself booked. The fact he hasn’t been able to make an impression in the PL is not as you suggest, it’s because in the other match he came on at the 90 th minute.! So that probably gives him about 6 minutes of PL experience, both in matches where the result was a foregone conclusion and only then did Dyche bring him on.….Dyche and the coaches clearly know what they have with Armstrong, hence his first team game time already this season. The fact that he’s not been able to make an impression in appearances shows the massive gap to the top level but he’ll be managed until he builds into a first teamer. I’m really chuffed he stood out last night.
Funny thing is, he lives almost opposite my 96 year old mother-in-law and literally 3 doors down from where Tom Davies was raised. Been a good road for Everton .
Good recruitment work from Thelwell getting the likes of Clarke and Graham (let’s hope he’s fit soon) in. Posters on here know my long held view that a good run in the FA Youth Cup is a sign of a future top player or two. Onwards and upwards.

….Branthwaite talks glowingly about how Dyche has managed him and he’s given opportunities to Harrison and Dixon. Seems to manage young players well so I have no concerns on that front.
Olayiwola looks like he’s going to have the physical size too, it’s been a while since an u16 got so many minutes so early in the season. I think with him Gardner and Matos we’re going to have a group who can develop together in midfield.Olayiwola went from being quite timid and flattering to deceive to being impressive in the last ten minutes. I hope so, i cant remember the last central midfielder to have been pushed this early, possibly Ledson or Davies.Olayiwola looks like he’s going to have the physical size too, it’s been a while since an u16 got so many minutes so early in the season. One of the interesting things about the match was that Forest were not that bad. Their left winger was giving Finney a fairly torrid time in the first half and they obviously had a number of players happy to run with the ball and play some nice passes. But Baines got them playing to their strengths - which doesn't mean that there was a lack of skill at all - but Forest were undone by the speed, strength and height of our squad. The third goal was a lovely move. Apparently we are playing them again in just over a week in the league.I hope so, i cant remember the last central midfielder to have been pushed this early, possibly Ledson or Davies.
It was a running theme last night of just how much more physically mature we were vs Forest, not sure if they fielded a team of first years or not but it looked like men against boys. A lot of well built athletes in our squad, first time I've been properly impressed by Morgan who had a bit of hype around him a couple years back. Clarke at 16 looks a grown man and seems only a matter of time before his U21s promotion.

Not neccesarily (or even at all) the same thing tbf.Well Dyche himself came out and said he doesn't coach Branthwaite so someone's lying here.
I actually disagree. Find the plain shirts so, well, plain, and boring without something on the front.Shirts just look sooo much better without logos and writing all over them.
Slam dunk by Zat!Look at the extensive experience Dyche has given to...
Harrison Armstrong
Roman Dixon
I'm intrigued by your pointing to Armstrong not "being able to make an impression in appearances". What kind of impression would you expect him to have made in those extremely limited minutes?
There is absolutely and categorically no evidence, as in zero to suggest Dyche can manage young players. Nothing to suggest he can coach them either.
Of one thing I can be certain and that is the two others you mention in Clarke and Graham would benefit from a different manager to Sean Dyche if they are to have a hope of making the impact which the signs are pointing towards.
He's done his upmost NOT to use young players unless there is no alternative.
Yep - exactly, you only have to look at how Klopp introduced his young players. The sad fact is that if Armstrong was being managed by someone like Klopp he'd have been given a lot more playing time in the first team. Same goes for Dixon. Dyche is a disaster for young players, as have most of our managers in the last twenty years.Mate you’re obsessed with Dyche, there was a thread the other week ( Chermitti? ) that you turned into a Dyche thread.
